About the event
TAG’s latest offering, is an ensemble comedy called ‘Can I Ask You a Question’ by talented new playwright Steve Tolmie. The action is set in a village hall during a quiz night in aid of local animal charity, Scurry Tunnels, and centres on six characters whose own frustrations and secrets spill out in the course of one eventful quiz evening, presided over by the imperious quiz mistress, Mrs Maitland. Sound familiar? Be prepared for misunderstandings and mayhem as the quiz rounds come ever closer to the competitors’ own concerns and obsessions. It is a light-hearted but thought-provoking glimpse into the lives of people we all know, laced with gentle humour and embarrassing revelations.
